Cheyenne Barton is a Swedish-American Illustrator who works freelance. I first encountered her art through instagram and then later on YouTube where she uploads vlog-style videos and 'draw with me' videos.

Her art work is always really colourful and playful - a style that I really enjoy visually. Her focus of work is usually on themes of nature, people and animals. But the way in which she does this is always very fun and unique. Her figures aren't proportionally correct, yet the way she colour and dynamics make it work so well.

Cheyenne doesn't particularly work on book illustration, however she does do a lot of print and commercial work. I wanted to mention her because I adore her work and style so much. She also advocates a lot for mental health and queer representation within art which are topics very close to my heart, so I really wanted to talk about her here!
